Client Testimonials

“I was very nervous about the process and Ruth took time to explain everything and establish trust and the creation of a safe space in which we could work together. Her approach was gentle, and not rushed in any way. I felt that she was attentive to the shifts in my emotional responses and was able to work with them to anticipate the areas that I was ready to start working on. She made me feel excited and optimistic about the future and that she would be there to guide and support me through any difficulties that may arise going forwards. Her approach felt collaborative, that this was a journey we were taking together, which made me feel empowered within it. We had a laugh sometimes, which I felt was very important too.”

‘Richard, I cannot begin to explain the gratitude and appreciation that I feel for your help in allowing me to understand and get to know myself.’

L, USA

“I have had outcomes that have exceeded my expectations. The profound change you mention in your online presence has happened for me and in a far quicker way than expected. I have become far more accepting, less anxious and aware of my value. You have made me believe in things about myself that I did not before me met. This has been a life changing experience for me and in a sustainable way. I respond very well to your style which is warm and supportive. I never feel judged or uncomfortable and I have definitely had the space to be who I truly am. I would never have considered even talking about self-actualisation until I met you. I am excited about the future!”

‘Richard flexes his approach to adapt to where my thinking takes me.  He demonstrates very effective listening and questioning skills, and then summarises very clearly and succinctly what he has heard me say, and checks where I want to go next.   I am never made to feel as though I am being judged.’

K, USA

‘Ruth’s coaching provided invaluable insights into my personal and professional development…In essence, our coaching relationship has evolved from strength to strength, empowering me to embrace opportunities and overcome obstacles with confidence.’

C, USA

‘Pace was great, plus the process wasn’t obvious, I was not aware of any coaching model.  The conversation felt natural and meaningful, and it was a real luxury to pause and think about me.’

W, USA

‘One of the primary goals I set out to achieve through coaching was to establish a system of resilience to navigate the challenges of life and work. With Ruth’s guidance and support, I’ve developed strategies and practices that strengthen my resilience. I’ve implemented practical techniques, such as reframing perspectives on setbacks and focusing on activities and positive feedback. While this is ongoing, I can say that I’ve made significant strides towards building a resilient mindset and skill set.’

F, USA

‘I think having a regular catch up holds me accountable for my… actions and commitments, helping me stay focused and motivated. Also, it helps confidence building, as coaching boosts my confidence by acknowledging my achievements and allowing me to overcome self-doubt.’

A, UK

‘We explored my identity (aspects of self) and what drives my work ethic – values, passion, purpose; my beliefs based on past role models with family stories, how this is impacting on me in the current, and may impact in future, to give me a sense of how I’m thinking and behaving and judging myself and others’.

T, USA

‘Reflecting on my journey, the outcomes I’ve experienced have been transformative both personally and professionally. One significant change is how I perceive myself. Through coaching, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of my strengths, capabilities, and potential. This newfound self-awareness has translated into increased confidence. In my professional life, this shift in perspective has been particularly impactful. I now approach the search for my role with more confidence, knowing what I bring to the table and how I can contribute to the success of a company or organisation. This clarity has enabled me to look for new challenges willing to tackle them with a sense of purpose.’

H, UK

‘I find that Ruth’s professional viewpoint helps me to see things about my own behaviour and the behaviour of others that I wouldn’t otherwise notice. This helps me to see how to go about my life in a different way. I suppose it is only myself that hinders me and this is what I’m trying to change.’

E, USA

‘I feel that I have gained a lot of understanding of myself and it is gradually helping me improve my approach to life in general.’

N, UK

‘What worked well was going deeper into personal identity, and resistance to change. Challenging thinking and understanding context, role, and my purpose in the team.’

S, USA

‘I feel in safe hands with Ruth, anything I might wish to bring to our sessions is met with understanding and compassion, I feel inspired both intellectually and emotionally. I do still tend to hold myself back and prioritise the needs of others, this is improving but these old habits can be difficult to shift.’

T, UK

‘Richard understands the context and environment that I’m working in, he is both supportive and challenges my thinking and assumptions … I appreciate the skill he has in linking our conversation with previous themes and conversations across our sessions, Richard sees the whole person and brings me back to that and my ‘meta’ goals.’
